Financial Literacy Workshop with Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM) under Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Government of Nagaland
April 25, 2026
Moneybar recently had the opportunity to conduct an engaging financial literacy workshop with the Project Management Unit (PMU) team of the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM), a key initiative under the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Government of Nagaland. The session focused on practical conversations around money management, salary planning, financial literacy, and everyday financial decision-making, creating a space for participants to openly engage with personal finance in a simple and relatable way. Discussions covered topics such as understanding salary structures, managing monthly income, budgeting, financial wellness, and building healthy money habits, with participants actively sharing questions and experiences throughout the workshop. We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Meripeni Ngullie, Project Lead, NSEDM, for coordinating the session and making the collaboration possible. Working alongside NSEDM under IDAN, Government of Nagaland, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening financial awareness, youth empowerment, and skill development across the state. At Moneybar, we believe financial literacy is a life skill. When people understand money better, including how to manage and plan around their salary, they are empowered to make informed decisions, build financial confidence, and create stronger futures for themselves and their communities. We’re grateful for the enthusiasm, energy in the room, and the engaging Q&A with the NSEDM PMU team, and we look forward to supporting more financial literacy initiatives across Nagaland and Northeast India.
