150+ Students Attend Moneybar Financial Literacy Workshop at Kohima College, Nagaland
November 15, 2025
Moneybar conducted a Financial Literacy and Money Management Workshop with over 100 third-year Commerce students at Kohima College, Kohima, Nagaland, focused on preparing students for real-world financial decisions and life beyond college. The session was designed to help students build practical financial confidence before their first salary, covering key topics such as money management, budgeting, saving habits, banking and navigating everyday financial decisions as they transition into the workforce. With a room full of future professionals preparing to step into careers and independent financial responsibilities, the conversations were thoughtful, practical and highly relevant. What stood out most was the engagement from students as they explored how financial literacy applies beyond academics and into real-life decisions around earning, spending and managing money well. At Moneybar, we partner with educational institutions and organisations to deliver practical financial literacy experiences that make money management more relatable, actionable and accessible for young adults across Nagaland and the North East. An encouraging session and an important step toward stronger financial awareness among the next generation.
