Moneybar Conducts Financial Planning Workshop for 100+ PM Vishwakarma Artisans in Dimapur, Nagaland Part -2

September 6, 2026

Moneybar had the opportunity to interact with 100+ local artisans and MSMEs in Dimapur, Nagaland, as part of the PM Vishwakarma initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland.

The workshop was curated by Moneybar to help artisans and small business owners build a stronger understanding of their finances and take the first steps towards better financial planning.

The session covered practical topics including money management, budgeting and the basics of investing, with a focus on making financial concepts simple, relevant and actionable for entrepreneurs.

Beyond understanding financial concepts, participants were encouraged to think about their businesses from a financial planning perspective — where their money is going, how they can manage it better, what they should prioritise and how they can begin planning for the future.

A key part of the workshop was helping participants take that initial boost from understanding their finances to creating a practical financial action plan for their businesses.

For Moneybar, this is an important part of our larger work.

We work with MSMEs, entrepreneurs, institutions and communities to make financial planning more accessible and actionable. We curate workshops, seminars and short courses, and also provide financial consultations and business action planning tailored to specific needs.

Our programmes and consultations are available both online and offline.

Whether it is helping a small business create a budget, understand its finances, explore initial investment options or build a financial action plan, Moneybar aims to help businesses move from “Where do I start?” to “What do I do next?”

We’re grateful to the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland, for the opportunity to contribute to the PM Vishwakarma initiative and engage with the artisans and MSMEs of Dimapur.

Better financial understanding. Better planning. More informed businesses.
