World Economic Forum Global Shapers Kohima x Moneybar: Financial & Digital Literacy Workshop with Chiechama Youth, Nagaland

Moneybar partnered with the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Kohima Hub to design and deliver a Financial and Digital Literacy Workshop with the youth of Chiechama, Nagaland. The session focused on practical financial awareness and digital literacy, covering topics such as online scams and fraud awareness, loans and borrowing, UPI and digital payments, money management and budgeting. Designed and delivered by Moneybar, the workshop created space for practical conversations around navigating money confidently in today’s increasingly digital world and building healthier financial habits early. What made the session especially meaningful was the active participation from the youth of Chiechama and the openness with which conversations around money, digital finance and financial decision-making were approached. Moneybar founder Paweü Kayina also acknowledged and appreciated some of the most participative participants during the session, recognising their curiosity, engagement and contribution to the conversations throughout the workshop. A valuable collaboration with the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Kohima Hub and another important step in building stronger financial awareness across Nagaland.
